EAST Cambridgeshire Police are looking for more volunteers to start Neighbourhood Watch schemes.
Neighbourhood Watch is one of the largest and most successful crime prevention initiatives ever.
This is an active partnership with police, sharing information, advice and ideas. The scheme aims to help reduce crime and the opportunities for crime, to assist and reassure those who fear being the victims of crime, and to encourage good neighbour relations and closer communities.
A scheme only needs to involve a few houses or could include all of the houses on an estate.
