MAY I, through your letters page, say that I was amazed to see that four months after Remembrance Day, there are still poppy wreaths at Ely's War Memorial? Whereas, in years gone by, they have been removed and flowers have been put in place.
I believe the Royal British Legion's motto is We Will Remember, but to me it seems they have been forgotten this year. Doesn't anyone care?
These men gave their lives for Ely and their country in two world wars.
Where are the Royal British Legion's men and women of Ely today?
