AS there is often a great deal of fuss made about neglected properties in Ely, may I ask why the lovely Steeplegate building in the High Street is still empty? I pass it every day and remember the beautifully decorated windows and the delightful tearoom.
AS there is often a great deal of fuss made about neglected properties in Ely, may I ask why the lovely Steeplegate building in the High Street is still empty? I pass it every day and remember the beautifully decorated windows and the delightful tearoom. It now looks dilapidated and run-down which I feel is a great shame, particularly as it's in such a prominent and picturesque position.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what is happening about it?
