HAS the district council got any brains? If they had passed Lidl's plans (which the people want) on the condition that they provided a car park for long-term parking, it would have saved all that money, £1,000,000 - our money.
We, the people, voted the council in to run our towns and cities, they way we want. Who wanted a car park down Angel Drove in the first place, and how much more money is the council going to squander on projects that nobody seems to want or care for?
