I was delighted to read that the local police are to clamp down on illegally parked vehicles in the High Street.
Visitors to our city, whose view of the cathedral is spoilt by groups of drunken youngsters congregating on Palace Green, will be relieved to discover that at least they will be able to walk along the High Street without encountering the menace of inconsiderately parked cars.
