I WOULD like to know whether in a letter published in the Ely Standard on October 26, the mayor of Ely, Cllr John Ison was referring to the Friends of John's Road Association when he talked about "a small prejudiced group".
If so, I would like to say that we are not small, we are not prejudiced, and we have not been damning to the skate park in any way. If these accusations were not directed at us who were they directed at? We would like to give Cllr Ison the opportunity to withdraw the statement or at least indicate who they were directed at. Perhaps you would make that clear to the Ely Standard and us please.
