REGARDING the story on the front page of your Soham edition last week (Town's makeover plan), you can try to bring in new businesses, build thousands of new homes etc, but it will always be a bit of a joke while trains rumble serenely past, with nowhere to stop.
What a wonderful, missed opportunity, to do something while the line was closed.
Places such as Manea, Dullingham and Kennet have train stations, so why not Soham.
Without one, we are not really on the map.
