I AM very chuffed to report that Helen and I completed our 10k in just over an hour and without stopping to rest. Neither of us are too bothered about the time, just pleased that we ran the distance without stopping. There was a great atmosphere on the day at Jesus Green in Cambridge and all our Run For Liam group did well, especially Sarah Fairhurst and her running companions who finished in just under the hour mark. Well done to everyone who took part in the race and raised some much-needed cash for Cancer Research UK. I do have to confess that my legs hurt a lot afterwards and climbing the stairs is still painful two days later, but I don't care! We did it!
