I WOULD like to express how much I enjoyed the switch-on of Ely's Christmas lights.
What a wonderful sight it was to see so many streets light up, and people enjoying themselves. Also, a big 'thank you' goes to Nigel Clarke and his team from Ely Lighting Group who worked in all weathers to put up the lights.
Last of all, may I say a big 'thank you' to the Ely Standard for taking photographs of the Christmas Tree Festival at Ely Methodist Church.
