I WOULD just like to say that I am absolutely disgusted by a story that I recently read about Mr Grosvenor Myer and how he had to leave his wife of 30 years to die alone. That is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard about in my life. Nobody should have to die alone, and nor should anybody be allowed to die alone. This gentleman should have been allowed to be there with his wife to say his last goodbyes before she passed away. I would like to let Mr Grosvenor Myer know that he is not alone in his battle to have the law changed on its views about assisted suicide. I believe that if somebody well and truly wants to end their life and have their partner there with them when they do then they should be allowed to do it. This is what our forefathers lost their lives for, freedom and having the right to end your own life - especially with loved ones around to say goodbye - taken away from you is going against everything our forefathers fought for.

I will support Mr Grosvenor Myer's battle as much as I can and I would like to say one more time, Mr Grosvenor Myer, you are not alone in this battle.

DAVID
