I KNOW I'm not alone, when I say that I'm sick and tired of hearing and reading about our city councillors and planners banging on about the Ely's 20-year Master Plan. Let's face it, nothing much seems to have happened to during the last year to building owned by Mr Borland, and it still looks an eyesore on the corner of High Street Passage and Market Street. There has been a little flurry of activity when he needs to renew his pavement licence for the hoarding, so how do they expect to plan and oversee a project as large and involved as their Master Plan. In my opinion, they are all living in cloud cuckoo land and would be better off dealing with present problems and leave the future planning of our beautiful city to people who have the capability to carry out such a task.
