I VISITED Ely on April 26 and had my purse stolen.
I discovered this in the library. I would like to thank the lady library assistant for her care and consideration. I retraced my steps to the market and enquired at the fish stall, as it was the last place I had used the purse. The young man there referred me to the market manager. I cannot thank this gentleman enough for his kindness and consideration. He telephoned the police and reported it and got me a crime number. He telephoned my bank and a stop was put on my card. He ensured I was able to get home safely. He dealt with everything quickly and efficiently. Once more, my grateful thanks to him.
If by any chance anybody finds my purse, I would be grateful just to get my bus pass back.
