I THINK it's disgraceful that the Hereward made such a fuss about a pensioner wearing a hat in their pub.
I have been in there on numerous occasions and seen chefs and other staff walking around with their hats on. More to the point, what if someone who wears a hat to cover their hair-loss through chemotherapy or as a result of illness tries to order food?
A bit of common sense is required here from this so called 'super-pub'.
