SO 'A' Boards are illegal under the Traffic Act and have to be removed.
Will the same Act apply to cars parked in the High Street when they project two or three feet onto the pavement, or are they not illegally parked?
Perhaps a few stiff fines, well-publicised in the local press, might put an end to this long-standing problem.
