THIS letter is for the mean postal service who didn't deliver my Mother's Day card in time for Mothering Sunday. My daughter put it in the post box in King's Lynn with a first class stamp forgetting that it should have been measured and weighed, so it was lacking the few pence it needed to get to me in time.
This Mother's Day was doubly painful as my eldest son died on March 20 at the age of 18 so I felt like I had two cards missing.
I feel like I have been to hell and back these last few weeks.
My daughter did go out and buy another card on the Monday, but it wasn't the same and it wasn't Mothering Sunday.
