I DO sometimes wonder exactly who, if anyone, actually plans the new developments these days. There is still building going on in Wicken at a fair rate.
No doubt the planners are making sure that the roof tiles are the right colour and that the windows are the right shape, but why are they building in a community where the school was closed down a few years ago? Do we really want to put five-year-olds on busses every morning? (Hopefully, these buses won't be withdrawn like the ones in Fordham.)
