IT might be a good idea to hide the money you want to give to the footballers, otherwise it might disappear on Friday night. The ladies from the Sports Hall and their friends are having another Wear it Pink pub crawl in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign, and if past years are anything to go by they will sniff out any cash you might have and wring it out of you. The pub crawl is due to start at the Carpenters Arms at 7pm and finish at the sports hall with a karaoke. Exactly what state they will be in when they leave the Carpenters is anyone's guess as their visit coincides with the first night of the Carpenters' beer festival.
There should be a less frenetic evening at the charity ball in Lodeside. The Joe Loss Orchestra will be providing the entertainment and the committee will be raising money for local good causes. Some forceful women in pink may well invade them.
