I AM lucky enough to know Pat Woodman (Soham front page, October 18) as our horses are stabled together and I have seen, over the course of the last year, just how much work she has put into fund-raising for The Brooke Hospital.
The Brooke Hospital does some amazing work and I am proud to say that I have helped Pat as much as I can to aid her fund-raising for them, from collections to car boots to a very successful sponsored ride!
People in Third World countries don't always know how to look after their animals properly, but they rely on them for work and transport amongst other things. It's not the animal's faults, and that is who Pat is striving to help. I think she's amazing!
