We older people need to be sure of finding a toilet as our bladders are not always as reliable as they once were. Premises that serve food have toilet facilities - but usually only one.
Being in a conservation area, signage is designed to be discreet in Ely. Exceptions should be made for directions to public conveniences.
I would be interested to know how the local authority calculates the attendances in the city's toilets. Do they count the number of toilet rolls used?
