I FOUND out the other day that I like sardines. No, not the little fish in watery tomato sauce you used to have for Sunday tea, the larger ones they catch around the Mediterranean. To mark the opening of yet another eating place in Soham there was a barbecue at Marco's Bar and I was pressed into eating a sardine. Washed down with some Portuguese beer it felt as if we'd flown down to the sun. If you want to try some for yourself Marco's is behind Poppies.
