I am a resident of School Lane Chittering and would like to express our concerns and worries of the situation that we always experience when there is an accident near School Lane.
As you may know Chittering is a hamlet with the majority of the dwellings in School Lane with no other access into the village other than the A10 junction.
We were once again unable to get either into the lane or out, from 9pm to 2pm access on October 10 was intermittent with waiting up to an hour due to the crash team clearing the scene, should any resident require emergency assistance we do not know what would happen.
The school children were escorted along the A10 by an off duty police man but had to walk past the accident not something you would want for any age school children.
