LETTER: Thank-you for the £800 donation from the Ely Standard awards for the cathedral

It was a wonderful start to the week to learn that we had received £800 in support of Ely Cathedral Trust from guests at the Ely Standard awards dinner in the Lady Chapel last Friday.

I am delighted, on behalf of everybody here, to send you our warmest thanks for nominating the Trust as your chosen charity for the evening.

As you know we rely greatly on the generosity of benefactors to help ensure that this magnificent building, our fine choral tradition, and everything that we do here continues for the enjoyment and inspiration of future generations. The support of those who cherish the cathedral is a constant source of encouragement, and we are extremely grateful.
