After securing funding of £49,650 from WREN and with additional funding from Stretham Parish Council, the new Ely Road play area, Ely Road, Stretham will be opened on Friday February 12 at 3.45pm.
A ribbon will be cut after which children will be able to try out the new play equipment for the very first time.
This new play area will be a great facility for the village for many years to come and many local people have been involved in the project voluntarily for which we are very grateful.
