I WISH people would stop demonising the Forty Foot road.
The maximum speed limit is 50mph and 40mph for lorries and this would be for good conditions. At other times; at night, in rain, fog or traffic, 30mph is a much safer speed to drive.
The only problem with the road [latest story, December 14, pictured below] is the idiots who drive at inappropriate speeds and do not concentrate.
