I WONDER if readers are aware of plans to fell, and prune back, a number of trees at Ely Marina.
There is a notice, advising of this, attached to a post in front of the duck-feeding area on the waterfront near to the bridge over the river going into the marina.
The trees to be felled include the five beautiful poplars on the marina opposite the Maltings.
If anyone has any comments on the proposals, then they need to be submitted as quickly as possible before decisions are made on October 21.
