TWO school buses currently running are the 681 from Burwell to Soham Village College and the 509 from Burwell to Bottisham Village College. Dave Chapman who drives both services (Bottisham finishes half an hour later than Soham) tells me the youngsters on them had a sudden rush of generosity to the head. In the run-up to Easter students donated Easter eggs for the children at Milton Hospice. On Good Friday Dave, accompanied by students Emily and Kelly, took 31 eggs there.
However ill the patients at Milton are, a good covering of melted chocolate can only help them feel a bit better. Well done to the people on services 681 and 509. If anyone starts moaning about "kids today" refer them to me.
