A COUPLE of weeks ago, part of the item about the state of the Downfields roundabout was changed and instead of saying 'county council' it read 'Soham Town Council'. It's the county council that receives the grant to maintain the roundabout and don't, not the town council.

This one, however, is my fault! Ever since I was aware of its existence the Prickwillow Engine Museum has had its run days on a Sunday. Last weekend they had their first one on a Saturday. I said it was Sunday. Sorry if anyone turned up on the wrong day. The next run day is, according to the brochure, August 25, which is a Saturday. You may wish to check on www.prickwillow-engine-museum.co.uk just to make sure.
