HOLIDAY dreams have come true for four lucky local people – thanks to the Anglia Co-operative food store at Littleport.
The Wisbech Road store held a special members’ instant win promotion during February with literally hundreds of instant prizes up for grabs.
And, each week during the four weeks of the promotion, one shopper also scooped a 500 Anglia Co-operative travel voucher.
The four winners received their prizes at the store. They included Littleport woman Carol Richardson, who is bringing up a 16-year-old disabled son, and bride-to-be Rachel King, of Little Downham.
Carol has been unable to travel on aeroplanes since suffering a stroke and her son, Liam, suffers from global development delay and cannot speak. She said: “This win is a lovely surprise, when I was told about it I had to check four times!
“Three years ago we went to Paris on Eurostar and really enjoyed it and I always said we would like to go back and now we can!”
