THE Dragon Palace Chinese restaurant in Lynn Road Ely provides an excellent service for disabled people. I am in a wheelchair and the staff at the restaurant do everything possible to help me - from opening the front door to helping me off with my jacket, right down to pushing my wheelchair under the table. The restaurant also has a disabled access toilet.
My boyfriend and I are regulars at this restaurant.
In my opinion, not all restaurants in Ely are wheelchair unfriendly; some have steps to access them and when you do get in there are even more steps to cope with.
