A-boards. What do I think? These bureaucratic regulations and their interpretation threaten the viability of small businesses in Ely.
Even banners are considered safety hazards to drivers. At the same time, major hazards to pedestrians and motorists caused by irresponsible parking at angles to, and on, the pavement in the High Street are ignored.
Farmers now have to resort to placards on vehicles in fields to advertise events or produce for sale to circumvent these petty regulations.
This country is swamped with bureaucracy at every turn.
When will common sense return and when will our two new county councillors take a stand on these issues.
