THROUGH your columns, may I thank everyone who supported
our 14th charity Christmas concert in Fordham.
The Victoria Hall was packed yet again, and those in attendance gave so generously to our charitable cause.
Special thanks must be conveyed to all performers who gave their services so willingly.
The Wicken Coronation Band has played at all our festive concerts and we owe them a great deal of gratitude for their continual support.
To our pianist, Bridget Hickish, a big 'thank you' and grateful thanks must also go to young singer Lizzie Futter, who captured everyone's heart with her vibrant personality and wonderful singing voice.
Finally, may I thank you and your newspaper for promoting the event.
The magnificent sum of £850 was raised during the evening and this will be donated to the Staploe
Medical Centre Patients' Transport Service Fund.
Once again, thank you all.
