On Friday, October 20 there is a performance of "Ruby and her Horses" in the pavilion performed by the "Bumpstead Boys." One of these "boys," Neil, is a regular at the monthly folk night at the Fountain and is always good for a laugh.
It should be a really good evening. Tickets are £5 (less for concessions) and are available from Peggy on 723491 or Neil on 01440 730414. There may be some available at the door when it opens at 7pm.
There is still time to book in for the charity ball featuring the Joe Loss Orchestra. Tickets for the event on October 27 are available from Jenny on 720518 or Angela on 721748.
