When we do get a nice day at the moment it really is nice and it's a pleasure to sit outdoors. There is a pleasant courtyard at the library that would serve this purpose admirably if only it were tidied up a bit. Unfortunately, the county council hasn't got the resources to do this (there are probably a couple of dozen managers on the payroll just to tell people about their shortage of resources) so it is up to the local staff and customers to sort it out.
