The High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire, Linda Fairbrother, stopped off at Stretham Youth Centre last Wednesday for refreshments during her coast to Cambridge sponsored walk for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Members of the clubs that run from the centre hosted the event and took great delight in showing off the recently refurbished centre to the High Sheriff and other guests who came along to meet her.
During the stop off the High Sheriff gave a brief talk to the children and young people on her role and responsibilities as High Sheriff.
