A WORD of warning. People in long-term relationships approaching 60 should arrange that utility bills are split between them. A utility bill addressed to the applicant is required for proof of residence in obtaining a bus pass. If one of the partners pays all the bills it leaves the other partner in difficulties in obtaining a bus pass. This may well be the case for other concessions.
