AT Clayway, Ely, we have a rubbish pen for black bagged household rubbbish.
However, it appears that if any of the bags are not tied then Cleanaway decide to take some of the bin bags that are tied and leave the rest in the rubbish pen along with the untied bin bags.
As my partner and I pay Council Tax, it annoys me to find that after collection, my tied bin bags are still there. I have contacted Hereward Housing and the council on more than one occasion, but to no avail.
I understand that the fortnightly collection idea was "binned". However, fortnightly collection would be better than no collection at all.
