FOLLOWING my two books on the Fens, From Punt to Plough and Fenland Families I am now writing a third book on the history of Fenland Agriculture. One subject I am finding difficult to illustrate is carrot growing on the black fen. If anyone has old photos on this subject I would be most interested, or indeed any old photos connected with farming/horticulture/fruit growing in the Fens. Any photos can be scanned on your premises by myself. I can be contacted on 01404 330408 or email; rex.turfpits@gmail.com.
