A LADY had a word the other day about the state of the path from Julius Martin Lane to The Craves behind the football ground. As I always do in these cases I went out and had a look for myself. She wasn't wrong. The path has settled and what should be flat is now bumpy and hollowed. In places there are small potholes. There is definitely an accident waiting to happen to some unwary walker.
While I was investigating the path there was a lady walking her dog some way ahead of me. Just as I had decided that the path was dangerous and rough she took off her shoes and continued on in her bare feet. Obviously the paths' not as bad as it looks.
