PLEASE, please do not destroy the serene beauty of Roswell Lakes which can be enjoyed by all Ely
residents.
I could spend all day watching the birds from the Cuckoo Bridge. It would be terrible if the waterlilys were turned into a fermenting mulch by boat propellers, as happens every summer on the river.
Nature trails, cycle and jogging routes around the lakes would open them up to more people especially the disabled, but please leave the grebes and the kingfishers to nest in peace and allow a small dog somewhere to have an adventure.
