USUALLY we pretend that our paper is the only one that exists and we don't acknowledge any others. Just once I'm going to ignore that convention. It was really bad news to read last week that Michael Jeacock has given us his final Views from the Fens.
Several of us try to churn out something worth a minute of your time every week, but Michael had it down to a tee. We all salute a master of the art and a man who was always splendid company, too.
