I WAS born down Waterside and have visited and fished the pits for more than 60 years. I have seen otters and bittern and a host of other birds and animals. If Mr Isaacson went early morning or late at night he would see them too. It has taken more than

It has taken more than 60 years to create the pits and just one year to destroy them. As far as I'm concerned one long boat is one too many.
