ONE of the highlights of the weekend was the umpteenth staging of the London Marathon. Thousands of people in shorts and vests looking happy while everything hurt was quite a sight. If you missed out on the London event there is still time to get involved in our own version, the East Cambs Half Marathon. It will be starting from the Sports Hall on May 20. If you really would like to have a go call the good people at the sports hall on 01353 722662.

I'd love to have a go myself, but I suffer from athlete's foot. Me suffering from athlete's foot is a bit like Cyril Smith with anorexia or Jordan feeling shy, but there it is. I'll be cheering on all those who do make the effort.
