I got confused the other day. Nothing unusual there, then, I hear you say. I saw a sign saying Bridge Club in the window of the newly-opened antique shop on the High Street. I wondered if we were following the example of the friends of the Jubilee Gardens and setting up a Downfields bridge fan club. Wrong sort of bridge. This one is for aspiring Omar Shariffs who would like to get together and play this fascinating variation of whist.
