IF you would like to see what can be made of a community hall you could do worse than visit the Mission Hall in Wicken (although I'm told that it is now to be known as the village hall) and there is a good reason to nip over there on Sunday when there is a Christmas Market, from 10am until 6pm.

It will be good practice for Christmas shopping in the future when we will all be shopping as close to home as possible to avoid the universal road tolls.

You can also get some interesting gifts at the Prickwillow Engine Museum, which is holding its last run day of the year on Sunday.
