I ALWAYS enjoy reading Letters to the editor, but my memory was stirred by the letter recently entitled 'Memories Of the Sweet Shop Bygone Days'. Mrs Sykes kept the shop and her husband kept the shop in Market Street selling toys and models etc. But the greatest thrill for me was that the sender of the e-mail was Roger Sykes (nicknamed Sixty), my best friend at Soham Grammar School from 1942 to 1947.
