IT is not just football fans who are dedicated. Recently, a large audience sat mesmerised at a production of Romeo and Juliet presented by the Lord Chamberlain's Men in the Priory Gardens, near Ely Cathedral.

The fact actors and audience were subjected to a cold wind and damp, penetrating mist made little difference. The British plucky spirit endures!
