Disposable Nappies

FURTHER to the letter and photographs in the August 2 issue of the Ely Standard, on Thursday afternoon we took photographs of the same area. It can be clearly seen that some disgusting person has dumped some soiled disposable nappies in front of the recycling bins. It would be interesting to obtain the views of the council on this matter - we have complained a number of times about the rubbish left in the area. A lot of the items dumped are rather large, for example: cardboard boxes, mattresses, which have obviously been conveyed by car or van, so why can these people not take it to the council dump?
