LETTER: Official opening day is child’s play for Stretham

PUBLISHED: 17:00 07 February 2016

After securing funding of £49,650 from WREN and with additional funding from Stretham Parish Council, the new Ely Road play area, Ely Road, Stretham will be opened on Friday February 12 at 3.45pm.

A ribbon will be cut after which children will be able to try out the new play equipment for the very first time.

This new play area will be a great facility for the village for many years to come and many local people have been involved in the project voluntarily for which we are very grateful.

Vice chairman, Stretham Parish Council
