Don’t Come and Live in Countryside and Then Complain

WHAT do you city people expect? You come and live in the countryside and then complain about cocks crowing and doves mating on your roof. What happens if you walk past a farm with cattle, are you are going to complain about the smell of manure up your nose. That’s country life I’m afraid. Now that we are in a recession more people will be keeping hens in the back yard, plus a cockerel as well. This was the norm many years ago and no one complained then and neither do the country boys complain now. It’s the outsiders who do not understand country life. This man had his chickens and cockerels plus other livestock long before houses were built at the back of him. They should have known that this man was there before they moved in. What are they next going to complain about next, the cuckoo or the song thrush or the blackbird singing early in the mornings. Sorry complainer but this is country life at its best,
