I WOULD like to add my comments to the subject of market stalls in Ely.

It will be a disaster to not provide proper market stalls to traders, for Thursday and Saturday markets. I thought the plan was to expand the markets especially at the weekends? Traders from France would expect to be provided with market stalls. On Saturdays, without proper stalls, it will look like a car boot sale.

Let's put extra pressure on ECDC to revoke this proposal and give us back the market stalls, for our market days. The Farmers' markets are very popular and well supported, surely traders selling food should have covered stalls, and they can hardly be expected to bring their own covered stalls.

The whole idea is simply stupid and has not been thought through by the councillors, as usual.
